I’ve been using my free time to learn new skills, mostly creative ones.
I’ve been following a couple of calligraphers on Instagram and became inspired to finally learn calligraphy. Upsides of social media 🙂 I’ve been practicing here and there and although I’m nowhere near a pro yet; I’ve been enjoying the slow and steady progress I’ve made. I’ve started with modern calligraphy with the nibs and all, and also ordered these, to start with hand lettering as well. Wish me luck..
Speaking of creative skills, I’ve always admired photography and typography, as a result, I’ve been dying to start learning some photoshop and I signed up for Skill-share’s three month trial and loved this beginner photoshop course.( not sponsored, just really like their courses.)
For the final project on the course I got to do a mood board and instead of going the easy route , I took the road less travelled and made my own layout. It’s just a simple mood board, but to me it symbolises the endless possibilities of what I could do in the future as I learn and learn more about this program.
